CAROLINA GRACE
Professor, Psychotherapist, Mindful Mother
In my most recent chapter I have become a mother and a wife. I have been learning to live and love from the inside of my intuitive nature, finding my own way to inhabit and bring my soul into these roles that can feel constricting and his-torically created. Learning to mother from the inside is one of the greatest journeys and honors of my life.
I am still recovering from the total transformation of this passage, and I am still getting to know myself, post complete death of the self I was before. I am so in love with the depth of life I have experienced and the truth about the intelligence inside of women and inside of life. I have experienced the power of my body and the sacredness that all life holds. Having a child has rewired my heart through every cell and through my eyes to everything I see.
I love everything now and I am forever a mother of everything. It is a tremendous responsibility and it is a tremendous honor. It is now my passion and power to be cultivating group experiences of heart, liberation and deepened connection to self and other.
I am based in Taos and Santa Fe, NM, and a licensed LMHC in the state of NM and currently teach psychology at Southwestern College in Santa Fe.
I have been working as a therapist and therapeutic educator working individually, in groups, in settings, from hospitals to recovery center, schools and my private practice — THE RETURN.
When I am not mothering or being devotional in my home life you can find me on the dance floor, skiing, traveling, speaking Spanish and exploring other cultures, or going deep with friends.
I am so grateful for all the freedoms I hold as a woman and for my creative birthright.
Sending love out to all corners of our sweet planet.
